Hello and welcome

Welcome to Talking and Healing. I’m Geraldine - a qualified counsellor and coach, offering one-to-one therapy sessions in London Bridge, Dalston and Leigh-on-Sea, Essex.

I work in an integrative way, blending elements of person-centred, existential and psychodynamic theory, working in a creative way to suit your needs. My training also includes a qualification in coaching – because, as well as your past, I’m also deeply interested in your future. I want to know what you want out of life and to work with you to discover how to get there.

I know from personal experience that starting counselling or coaching can  be daunting - and it takes courage to take that first step.  It's a process that requires commitment, effort and belief that you can feel better than you do now. However, I also know that you can feel the benefits from day one.  Talking things through can provide a lightness; a sense of relief that you are understood, and that your situation can improve.  I will join you on the journey and work with you side-by-side each step of the way. It will be a privilege get to know you and your story and to bear witness to how it unfolds.
